Move to the area because?

Great growth in house prices and an aspirational area mean that Sutton has been at the top of the game on the North side of Birmingham since year dot. You won't get much for your money with house prices now 225k and above for a house and the only way to find something under 200k is to buy a flat. The once not so popular area of Falcon Lodge now sees crazy prices due to a number of good senior schools on its doorstep. 


There are a number of ofsted outstanding schools that keep the area popular and the priced for sales and lets at a real high Arthur Terry has been a popular one over the last few years and Plantsbrook has just had a new school built to cope with demand. There is also the popular girls school of Sutton Girls and Highclare is the private schooling option with 2 sites within Sutton. 

Local Pubs/Restaurants 

Lots of bars and restarts in the town centre with others on the outskirts on the way out to the countryside. The town centre is one of the few places locally that still has a good buzz on the nighttime and easy access to busses and trains mean that people flock to the bars each weekend. You can still be back in Birmingham city centre in under 20 mins. 

Local Shops

The Gracechurch has a number of shops in the town centre and the areas of Boldmere and Four Oaks have a number of shops of their own too  

Local Clubs 

There is a local swimming baths with a gym attached and a number of clubs in the sutton area Aspire run a number of holiday clubs for children in the holidays from a school on the main Lichfield Road. Sutton is a great family town if looking to start a family or looking to move for better schools. 

Little known fact 

Sutton has a real who's who of famous people born here Bradley from the band the Vamps owns a gin bar, Cat Deeley is from Little Aston (posh) and even beating Dennis Waterman (minder) are the weasley's from Harry Potter now that's famous.
